A “new year” is full of promise for many, but can be a tough time of transition for families who are grieving the death of a loved one. Sad Isn’t Bad’s family sessions give grieving children, adolescents and their families a chance to process the life changes they’ve experienced since the death of a loved one. Believe it or not, we even have fun together! And we remember that as those who grieve, we are not alone. We look forward to bringing more kids and families together at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (909 W. 33rd St. in Sioux Falls) on Thursdays January 24, 31, February 7 and 14. Each night of our session runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and includes free dinner and programming for all members of the family.
