(Posted in 2019) You might have heard Sad Isn’t Bad on the radio recently. Our executive director, Jill Stoebner, previewed the winter session in an interview on Sunny 93.3 FM in Sioux Falls.

“We want to support them as they’re going through that grieving process, and we do that as a family,” Stoebner said.
We host family-style dinners at the beginning of each Tuesday evening session. We then split into groups led by professional counselors and social workers to help facilitate conversations among kids, adolescents and adults.
John Small asked what the sessions cost and was surprised to hear they’re all free. Sessions are free to attend thanks to the Sioux Empire United Way and its generous donors.
